This Privacy Policy explains how Dr.View Pharmacy Pvt. Ltd. (“Dr.View Pharmacy”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, shares, protects, retains and deletes information when you use the Dr.View Pharmacy mobile application, website and related pharmacy ordering and delivery services.

1. Information we may collect

• Account information: name, mobile number, login/OTP verification details and account identifiers.
• Contact and delivery information: recipient name, phone number, address, landmark, city, state and PIN code.
• Order information: products ordered, quantities, order history, delivery status, invoices, refunds and support records.
• Prescription and health-related information: prescription images/documents and information voluntarily submitted for pharmacy review or prescription-based ordering.
• Payment information: payment method, payment status, transaction/order identifiers and refund status. Sensitive payment credentials are processed by the payment service provider.
• Location information: approximate or precise location only when you choose location-based address, map or delivery features and grant permission.
• Photos/files: files or images you choose to upload, including prescriptions.
• Device and technical information: device type, operating system, app version, IP address, crash/diagnostic data, notification tokens and security or performance logs where applicable.
• Support information: messages, complaints, feedback and information you provide when contacting us.

2. How we use information

• Create and manage your account and authenticate sign-in.
• Process pharmacy orders, prescriptions, payments, refunds, invoices and deliveries.
• Confirm serviceability and support delivery or navigation features.
• Send order, delivery, security, OTP and service notifications.
• Provide customer support and respond to requests or complaints.
• Prevent fraud, misuse, unauthorized access and security incidents.
• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot and improve the app and services.
• Comply with applicable legal, regulatory, tax, pharmacy, consumer-protection and record-keeping obligations.

3. Prescription and sensitive health information

Prescription images and related health information are treated as sensitive information and are used only for purposes reasonably connected with prescription verification, pharmacy service, order fulfilment, customer support and legal or regulatory compliance.

4. Payments

Online payments may be processed through third-party payment processors such as Razorpay. The payment provider may collect and process payment information under its own privacy terms. Dr.View Pharmacy may receive transaction status, payment/order IDs, refund status and similar payment metadata needed to complete and reconcile an order.

5. Third-party services and sharing

We may share information only as reasonably necessary to provide the service, comply with law or protect users and the service. Recipients may include payment processors, Google/Firebase services, Google Maps/platform services, OTP/SMS providers, authorized delivery partners, hosting/database/security providers and lawful authorities. We do not sell personal or sensitive user data.

6. Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure. No system can guarantee absolute security.

7. Data retention

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for service delivery, customer support, fraud prevention, accounting, tax, pharmacy/regulatory record-keeping, dispute resolution and legal compliance. When no longer required, information may be deleted or anonymized unless retention is legally permitted or required.

8. Account and data deletion

You may request deletion of your Dr.View Pharmacy account and associated personal data, subject to information we must retain for legal, regulatory, tax, fraud-prevention, prescription or transaction record-keeping obligations. See our Account & Data Deletion page.

9. Permissions

The app may request location, photos/files or camera, and notifications where needed for features such as delivery addresses, prescription uploads and order updates. Permissions can be managed through device settings.

10. Children’s privacy

The service is intended for users who can lawfully use pharmacy ordering services. We do not knowingly seek to collect children’s personal information in a manner prohibited by applicable law.

11. Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, update or delete certain personal information, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, or raise a privacy complaint.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, legal obligations or data practices change. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
